Welcome to the Knoxville Figure Skating Club!

The Knoxville Figure Skating Club (KFSC) was formed in the fall of 2002 and is considered part of the Eastern Great Lakes Region of the Midwest section. Since May of 2004, KFSC is a full voting member club within US Figure Skating. Our membership is over 100 members strong and continues to grow.

US Figure Skating is the national governing body for the sport of figure skating in the United States. It is a member of the International Skating Union (ISU), the international federation for figure, speed, and synchronized skating, and is also a member of the United States Olympic Committee (USOC). US Figure Skating is comprised of member clubs, collegiate clubs, school-affiliated clubs, and individual members. The KFSC club calendar has been updated to include regional and national competitions.  Please take a moment to look through our club calendar and note the upcoming competitions, locations, and dates for the 2009-2010 skating season.  Be sure to check with the host club for deadlines.

 If you are interested in helping the club host an event, speaker, training session, please let us know and we'll be happy to look into it.

The Knoxville Figure Skating Club is now accepting membership applications for the 2009-2010 membership year.  If you have not renewed your membership, please do so as soon as possible.  The membership year will run from July 1, 2009, through June 30, 2010.  Your membership with KFSC also includes a membership with U.S. Figure Skating for the same dates.  All memberships include a subscription to SKATING magazine from U.S. Figure Skating (one per household).  Membership fees DO NOT include testing fees - those are paid separately with your test session applications.  Applications and Membership Categories descriptions may be downloaded from the "Downloads" page, or you may pick them up at the KFSC box next to the KFSC bulletin board in the Cool Sports lobby.  Please return your completed application and fees to the address on the form or drop them in the KFSC box at Cool Sports.  If you have any questions, please send them through the "Contact" link on this website.

The 2009 KFSC Fall Awards Banquet and General Membership Meeting will be held on Saturday, November 7, 2009, at 4:30 PM at the Concord Yacht Club.
