Welcome to the Knoxville Figure Skating Club!
The Knoxville Figure Skating Club (KFSC) was formed in the fall of 2002 and is considered part of the Eastern Great Lakes Region of the Midwest section, and part of the South Eastern Great Lakes Council of figure skating clubs . Since May of 2004, KFSC is a full voting member club within US Figure Skating. Our membership is over 100 members strong and continues to grow.
US Figure Skating is the national governing body for the sport of figure skating in the United States. It is a member of the International Skating Union (ISU), the international federation for figure, speed, and synchronized skating, and is also a member of the United States Olympic Committee (USOC). US Figure Skating is comprised of member clubs, collegiate clubs, school-affiliated clubs, and individual members. KFSC Membership for 2010-11
The Knoxville Figure Skating Club is now accepting applications for the 2010-2011 Membership Year. The Membership Year runs from July 1, 2010, through June 30, 2011. Your membership with the Knoxville Figure Skating Club also includes membership in U.S. Figure Skating (USFS). Any skater participating in competitions and test sessions, as well as skaters who take lessons and skate on Cool Sports Freestyle Sessions, must be members of USFS. Applications and membership category descriptions are available on this website under the "Membership" tab as well as in the KFSC box in the Cool Sports lobby. You may drop off your completed applications and payment in the KFSC box at Cool Sports, or mail them to Membership Chair Nancy Rothery at the address on the membership application. You may send any questions regarding membership to the Membership Chair through the "Contact" link on this website.

Calendar Updated
The KFSC club calendar has been updated to include regional and national competitions. Please take a moment to look through our club calendar and note the upcoming competitions, locations, and dates for the 2009-2010 skating season. Be sure to check with the host club for deadlines.
If you are interested in helping the club host an event, speaker, training session, please let us know and we'll be happy to look into it.
